Brenda Castro’s work as a Catholic school librarian has surrounded her with wonderful books, which inspired her to write. Her first children’s book, an Amazon best seller titled God’s Easter Gifts, describes the season of Lent and the meaning of Easter. You can also learn about the lives of saints in her second book titled Jackie’s Special Halloween, which describes the meaning of All Hallow’s Eve and All Saints’ Day. Brenda obtained her bachelor’s degree in bilingual elementary education from Arizona State University and is currently attending University of Mary to obtain her masters in education. She lives in Glendale, Arizona, with her husband and three children. In her spare time, she enjoys crocheting, hiking, and of course, reading!
